The story centers on “Chronos Rulers,” those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons. (Source)
Like many others, I would give this a 3 out of 5 stars. Read below to find out why.
Our innate, human desire often focuses on wanting to turn back time–out of guilt, out of regret, and sometimes, out of pure selfishness. As much as we may wish, we cannot turn the clock backward. However, in this world of Jikan no Shihaisha, or Chronos Rulers, time can be changed–but at a price. The cost, of course, is to give time–and as ironic as that is, some people are willing to sacrifice their future time just to turn back into the past.
This anime has almost as much seriousness as there is humor. It definitely does make you pay attention with their plot-twists, and the story does make you want to watch more. However, during some conversations, there is an inappropriate use of humor that the creators thought was funny, but it does not fit well. It is random and immature at times, and this type of anime/story should be focused more on seriousness as more episodes are added.
All-in-all, this anime is binge-worthy, and hopefully, it gets better.
